RackNRoLL Farms

We also train horses to be shot off of or desensitized around guns. This training is essential for mounted shooting, mounted patrol, Civil War reinactments, field trials, hunting.

We ride in a round pen, arena, then to our  community with 13 miles of dirt roads. We also trailer to the Princess Preserve or Tiger Bay to give the horse actual trail experience.

Pricing depends on what your horse needs. No two are the same.

Riding lessons are $40/hr

Our training programs consists solely of pleasure training. We do not train for the show ring. At Rack-N-RoLL Farms we specialize in spook proofing a horse. Listed at the bottom are many videos that actually show what we do. The titles speak for themselves and where a picture speaks a thousand words, a video speaks 10 times that.

Whether it's your horse or ours the first thing we do is evaluate the horse. We video everything we do and have software that can be advanced one frame at a time. Many things can be missed with the naked eye. The camera doesn't miss anything. These evaluations tells us everything about a horse. It's abilities, foot fall, gaiting patterns, training level, personality, learning pace, and tolerance. Once we have established these things we can decide on a program. Many trainers tell you they will train your horse. They may work with your horse 3 times a week if you are lucky and charge you for a full month of training. When you figure trainers charge from $35 to $50 per hour, three hours a week pretty much covers a months training and board. We work with the horses every day weather permitting. A horse will have one day off each week rain or shine. We average thirty hours each month per horse or more. This does not include the hours spent on the computer analyzing video. We also offer daily email updates including video. This way you can see what your horse is doing and not just hope a trainer is working your horse and not just taking your money. We feed top quality feed and T&A hay exclusively. Special diets we have no problem accommodating.
